About The Quill and The Conversation

Are you familiar with The Quill and The Conversation? When setting up GjC the main idea was that to forge a global community of engaged journalism educators, one challenge is to share reflections beyond our usual research journalism, read by few and catering to more specialized dialogs.

The Quill is a key magazine internationally for journalism professionals, began a long time ago in the US, but now catering to a wider audience. The Conversation began a few years back in Australia as a platform for applying journalistic storytelling to academic research. It has since then spread globally, with regional editions. Here on GjC we have posted a link to the Conversation´s coverage and discourse on journalism.

Check them both out here on the links above. Both operate under a Creative Commons license, so making use of their material with adequate referencing is an open invitation.
