About the Center for Global Journalism and Communication
GjC was set up in 2021 to provide an international network of journalism educators with a space to reflect on the digital transformation of journalism and communication. We operate as an open access network under the creative commons license, where there is no fee for joining and no other obligation or expectation than to participate as much as possible in fostering the discussion of challenges that we all face in understanding and articulating contemporary changes in journalism theory and practice. We seek to provide a forum for reflection, sharing experiences, critiquing and probing ways of inching journalism education forward.
